How to make Cranberry Chipotle Barbecue Sauce
Begin by adding all of the ingredients to a small sauce pan.
The ingredients include cranberries, ketchup, brown sugar, beer, apple cider vinegar, chipotles, olive oil, Worcestershire, and garlic.
Simply simmer for 5 minutes before blending to the perfect, brushable consistency.

Cranberry Chipotle Barbecue Sauce
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup cranberries
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup beer
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup chipotles in adobo sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire
- 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
Instructions
- Add all of the ingredients to a small sauce pan and stir to combine.
- Over medium heat, bring to a low simmer.
- Cook for 5 minutes, stirring upon occasion.
- Use a blender, immersion hand blender, or potato masher to create a smooth, brushable consistency.
- Use or serve warm or at room temperature.

Yes! Simply reduce the brown sugar added to the sauce to 1/3 cup instead of 1/2 cup.Can I use frozen or dried cranberries for Cranberry Chipotle Barbecue Sauce?
Yes! Frozen cranberries are used exactly the same as fresh cranberries. Dried cranberries may be rehydrated by microwaving in 1 cup of water until they boil.
