My Cranberry Chipotle Barbecue Sauce combines the sweet tartness of cranberries, the smoky heat from chipotles, with the subtle maltiness of beer. In addition to wings, it’s perfect on or with:
How to make Oven Roasted Cranberry Chipotle Glazed Wings
Begin by thoroughly drying the chicken wings by patting them dry with paper towels.
If your wings were previously frozen, make sure they are fully thawed so all of the moisture is released.
If your chicken wings are whole, cut into drummies and flat portions if desired.
Thoroughly season the very dry wings with kosher salt.
Place the wings sections on a foil lined, non-stick sprayed large baking sheet.
Preheat the oven to a high temperature.
Roast for 40-50 minutes.
Toss or brush a layer of sauce on the wings before placing back into the oven.
Continue to roast until the wings are crispy and the sauce has begun to caramelize.
You can broil the wings for a minute or two for extra crispiness at the end.
Toss or brush the wings a final time withe Cranberry Chipotle Barbecue Sauce before serving.

Tips for making sure your chicken wings are crispy!
- If previously frozen, make sure the wings are completely defrosted.
- Thoroughly dry the wings with paper towels.
- Make sure the oven is hot! 425 degrees is recommended.
- Season chicken wings with kosher salt to draw moisture from the skin.
- Space the wings so they are not touching as they roast.
- Broil the last few minutes to add additional crispiness.

Oven Roasted Cranberry Chipotle Glazed Wings
Ingredients
- 3 pounds chicken wings
- 1 tablespoon kosher salt
- 2 cups Cranberry Chipotle Barbecue Sauce Cranberry Chipotle Barbecue Sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.
- Line a large baking sheet with foil and spray with non-stick cooking spray.
- Trim wings into dummies and flats if desired and season with salt.
- Place skin side up on baking sheet with space in between the individual wings.
- Sprinkle with kosher salt.
- Bake for 40-50 minutes before brushing on OR tossing in half of the Cranberry Chipotle Barbecue Sauce.
- Cook for an additional 10-15 minutes until the sauce starts to bubble and caramelize.
- Brush or toss in the remaining sauce.
- Broil for 1-2 minutes if additional crispiness is desired.

Can I make Oven Roasted Cranberry Chipotle Glazed Wings on the barbecue grill?
Yes! Set up a charcoal or gas grill for a 400- 425 grate temp for indirect cooking (heat is not directly below the chicken). Place chicken, skin side up, on well oiled grill grates, close the lids and cook 30-40 minutes undisturbed. Toss in the Cranberry Chipotle Barbecue Sauce, place bak on the grill, close the lid and cook an additional 10-20 minutes or until internal chicken temperature is 165 degrees and/or desired chicken skin crispiness and caramelization is reached.Tips for making sure your chicken wings are crispy!
