white slow cooker of Bourbon Bacon Baked Beans

These easy Slow Cooker beans use a can of pre-mixed baked beans as a base, adds a ton of crispy bacon crumbles, bourbon, brown sugar, and the perfect spice mix to make the most in-demand side dish you may have every created!

Who else loves bacon?

Good! Because this is the recipe where every bite of beans has morsels of crumbly, crispy, salty delicious bacon.

After crisping up a pound of bacon and onions, half are stirred into the beans and that means the other half is sprinkled on top of these delectable baked beans. Bacon in every bite!

Very similar to my favorite Cast Iron Skillet Bourbon Bacon Grilled Baked Beans, this recipe take bland beans to extraordinary without the ‘scratch-made’ hours involved.

Notes

CrockPots and Slow Cookers tend to vary in cooking temperature and as a result, cook time can vary as well.

Make ahead directions:
Up to two days ahead, follow directions through #5 and store in an air tight container in the refrigerator. Do not add the second half of the bacon and onions until you are ready to turn your Slow Cooker on so they do not become mushy. The refrigerated mixture will require an additional 30 minutes to cook.
