Homemade Chipotle Brown Sugar Barbecue Sauce
Sweet with a Smokey and Spicy Heat, this Homemade Chipotle Brown Sugar Barbecue Sauce is so good, you can use it on virtually anything!
- 1/2 cup Chipotle Peppers in Adobo Sauce found in the Mexican section
- 1/2 cup beer
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Combine all ingredients in a small bowl or blender and puree using an immersion blender or traditional blender.
Place sauce in a small sauce pan and simmer for 5 minutes and then remove from heat. Sauce will thicken as it cools.
Baste meat with sauce when grilling/barbecuing.
