  • 2 cups flour
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup canola oil
  • 2 cups buttermilk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 pound crispy bacon crumbles

Honey Cinnamon Butter

  • 1/2 cup salted butter - room temperature
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Cinnamon Whipped Cream

  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon


Bacon Waffles

  • Cook bacon until crispy and crumble into pieces.
  • Oil waffle iron.
  • Stir together flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar together in a large mixing bowl.
  • Separate egg yolks from egg whites.
  • Beat the whites with a mixer until soft peaks form.
  • Stir egg yolks, oil, buttermilk, and vanilla into dry ingredients until combined.
  • Gently fold in the egg whites.
  • Sprinkle bacon crumbles onto batter before closing the waffle iron.
  • Cook until golden and crisp.

Honey Cinnamon Butter

  • Using a mixer, whip butter until it is light yellow and fluffy.
  • Add honey, cinnamon, and salt.
  • Continue mixing until combined.

Cinnamon Whipped Cream

  • Using a mixer, whip very cold heavy cream in a chilled bowl until soft peaks form.
  • Add cinnamon and powdered sugar and continue mixing to combine.  Chill until ready to serve.
